Bug, question, a game the catalog can't find, or an idea for the next version — write to info@hildel.com. Answers usually take a day or two.
For bug reports, these three things help most: your device and iOS version, what you did right before it happened, and what you expected instead.
When is the app available?
Version 1.0 for iPhone and iPad is in the final stretch. If you'd like a short note on release day, send an email with the subject “notify me at launch” — it's a reply from me, not a newsletter, and the address is only used for that one message.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad with a current iOS version (iOS 26 or later). There is no separate Mac version at the moment. Some extras, such as creating an avatar with Image Playground, depend on your device supporting Apple Intelligence.

Do I need an account?
No. There is no registration and no login. You open the app, type your name if you feel like it, and start.
Where is my data stored?
On your device. If you're signed in to iCloud, it also syncs to your other devices through your own private iCloud database. Details are in the privacy policy.
Does it work without iCloud?
Yes. Without iCloud the library simply stays on the one device — everything else works exactly the same, including offline.
The catalog doesn't find my game. Now what?
Add it manually: title, platform, genre and release year can all be typed in, and you can edit an entry at any time. If a game is missing from the catalog entirely, send me the title — the catalog gets updated.
The catalog picked the wrong edition.
Open the entry and choose “Find game details” again. When several editions match, the app shows you the candidates so you can pick the right one, and the cover and details update accordingly.
How do I save a game from Safari or another app?
Use the iOS share sheet and pick Games Bucket List. The link or the selected text becomes a new entry, the title is matched against the catalog, and the source link stays attached to the entry.
Can I switch the language?
Yes — the app is available in English and German, and you can set the language in the app itself (Settings → App Language) independently of your system language.
Are there ads, tracking or a subscription?
No ads, no tracking, no analytics SDK. Version 1.0 has no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
How do I delete everything?
Delete individual games in the app, or remove the app to clear the local copy. If you used iCloud sync, you can delete the app's iCloud data in iOS Settings → your name → iCloud.
