Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters — here's how this website handles data.

GitHub Pages Service

This website is hosted as a GitHub Pages website. GitHub may collect personal data from visitors to this GitHub Pages website, including logs of visitor IP addresses, to comply with legal obligations and to maintain the security and integrity of this website and the service. See details in the GitHub Privacy Statement.

Embedded YouTube videos

The home page embeds a video from YouTube, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and a two-click solution: when you open the page, only a locally stored preview image is shown and no connection to YouTube is made. The YouTube player is loaded only after you click the video. At that point data such as your IP address, browser information and the page you visited are transmitted to Google, and YouTube may store cookies or similar technologies on your device. A transfer of data to the USA cannot be ruled out.

The legal basis is the consent you give by clicking the video (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw it at any time for the future by not playing the video again and deleting YouTube's cookies in your browser. See details in Google's Privacy Policy.

Collection and processing of personal data

We do not collect any personal data on this website. We ourselves do not use cookies or any other tracking technologies (for the embedded YouTube video, see above).

For details on privacy inside the app, see the Privacy Policy for KanToDo.
